Entering this contest counts as an entry in TiPb’s Birthday Bash grand-prize draw for an Unlocked ColorWare iPhone 3G!
This is actually tomorrow’s contest, but since that means many of us will be busy celebrating — or being celebrated — we’re bumping it up to give everyone a little head start. And to help all of us out, those remarkable folks over at Appigo were gracious enough to let us give away a few of their remarkable apps:
Todo is a powerful tool that makes task management simple and fun. Use Todo by itself or synchronize your tasks to the web or your desktop using a popular online todo list like Toodledo or Remember The Milk (Pro account required for RTM). Todo helps you focus on what matters most and allows you to integrate the Getting Things Done (GTD) methodology or your own. ($9.99 - iTunes link)
Notebook gives you quick and easy access to your notes anywhere. Use Notebook by itself or synchronize your notes to the web using Toodledo.com, a free online service for notes and tasks. Capture your thoughts and ideas anywhere, categorize them, and synchronize them for safe keeping. Later on, you can browse by Notebook or search all notes by entering key words in the search field. ($4.99 - iTunes link)
AccuFuel™ Fuel Efficiency Tracker makes monitoring your vehicle’s fuel efficiency simple and fun. Is your SUV guzzling gasoline? Is your hybrid saving you money? With AccuFuel, you’ll instantly see how your driving habits affect your fuel efficiency. ($0.99 - iTunes link)
And because the TiPb Store wants to make moms happy too, they’re throwing in a Griffin Clarifi Case:
How to win? Because we know you’ll be busy, we’re keeping this simple. Just head on over to our How Are You Making Mom Happy thread on the forums, and give us your top three (3) to-do’s for mother’s day.
Do that, and we’ll give one of you the case and all three apps. Runner up will still get all three apps. And because Appigo knows how hard it can be to take proper care of moms, four more of you will still get Appigo Todo and Accufuel!
So what are you waiting for, go tell us your top 3 funny, sweet, sentimental, sensational, silly to-do’s for Mothers Day!

Apple released a surprisingly early iPhone 3.0 Beta 5 last Wednesday, and we spent all night covering it. Now we’ve rolled that coverage up into our massive iPhone 3.0 Walkthrough, to make it all up to date, and even more massive.
If you have any questions on the iPhone 3.0 Betas, or know anyone who does, send them on over.

iPhone 3.0 Walkthrough Updated to Beta 5

Every week a few of us from team TiPb, bloggers and forum crew alike, will bring you our current favorite, funnest, most useful App Store apps, WebApps, jailbreak apps, even the occasional accessory, web site, or desktop app if the mood strikes us. As long as they’re iPhone (or iPod touch) related, they’re fair game.
So who’s on deck this week and what are our picks? Find out after the break!
Wow. By far the best graphics of any racing game on the iPhone. Easy controls, car customizations and different racing scenarios make this one a winner in my book. It may be a little pricey at $9.99 for some, but I consider this to be the FIRST console-quality game for the iPhone; a must buy for any iPhone gamer! [$9.99 - iTunes link]
I am currently on vacation at the beach, and have been using The Weather Channel app to keep an eye on the weather. Keeping an eye on rain, heat index, and humidity are useful when planning the day. It’s great to get more information that just the temperatures that are provided with the default weather app. [Free - iTunes link]
I am a golf fanatic. I love video games. I buy Tiger Woods for my Xbox 360 the day each new version is released. I am completely addicted. I purchased Tiger Woods for the iPhone the day it was released and it is worth every penny. Fluid game play with great graphics. The ability to save a game and continue where you left off. You can even customize your player. Quite possible the perfect game for the iPhone! [$9.99 - iTunes link]
Best Mixed Martial Arts application in the App Store. Get all the latest mma news as it’s updated daily. [Free - iTunes link]
Who remembers the best selling game Myst from 1993? Well, now you can spend those hours sifting through clues and solving puzzles all over again! The developers remade Myst for iPhone and the sound and graphics are absolutely stunning. This is a game you don’t want to miss! [ $5.99 - iTunes link]
Having been playing this game for the past couple of weeks, I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it. Many of you will probably know this game, some of you may not. For those of you who don’t , MYST is a complex puzzle game in which you must find a way of a deserted island/world. The footprint of the game is somewhat large, but worth it (about 720MB.) I really liked the sound the game provided, as they didn’t go short on sound design. I rarely felt like there was repetition in sound, which can be a drawback for other games. [$5.99 - iTunes link]
I’m not much of a gamer. And I’ve never played any type of tower defense game before. So when ngmoco asked me to be part of their pre-release press tournament for their latest game, Star Defense, I said “no!” Or I should have, since saying yes likely resulted in exquisitely public humiliation. But here’s the thing — I had a blast playing it. It’s gorgeously designed, wonderfully interactively, and joyfully addictive. Even though I got my butt kicked across the Twitterverse in the tournament, now that it’s over, I’m going buy the release version just to keep on playing it. [TBA - Website link]
You’re part of team TiPb too, so what’s your pick? What app was your absolute fav last week? Let us — and everyone — know in the comments!

Balance mode lets you weigh two towers against each other. Power Tower mode challenges you to build a power line using conductive blocks. Rescue mode uses your tower building skills to save the precious golden egg.
WordFu: Shake your letter dice and spell as many words as you can before the clock runs out. Build up your score by unleashing an endless word barrage! Freeze time, flick dice for better letters, and let loose a fiery spelling fury! Once you’ve mastered it on your own, take on your friends over WiFi. Dominate the leaderboard on your quest to earn WordFu Belts and become a true WordFu Grand Master. Once no worldly man can defeat you, play Shaolin Style for the highest WordFu challenge!
Rolando: Rolandoland has been invaded and the Rolandos need your help! Use innovative tilt, tap and Multi-Touch controls to solve physics puzzles, toy with interactive environments, and evade pesky enemies as you lead the Rolandos to victory.
