We told you everything you needed to know back when it was announced. When it got delayed, we were bummed, but only a little, because we knew we'd soon have it in our hands. And now, it's finally here.

55 levels and 40 challenges of some of the most addictive gameplay there has ever been. Controls feature a "precision wheel" on the side of the screen that will let you line up your shot perfectly. All of the Peggle masters and powers in the regular version made it to the iPhone as well. If you've ever played Peggle, you probably already know that at $4.99, this is a steal, and if you've never played Peggle, we can almost assuredly tell you it's more than worth the price (though there is a free trial for the Mac just in case you're not 100% sure).

Peggle for the iPhone is out. Your free time's days are numbered.

Attack of the iClones: Microsoft Office Movie + Twitter x ZunePhone = Huhbuwhat?!

Confession: When we first heard that a Twitter account associated with Microsoft Office 10: The Movie (?!) was telling people “New product launch, that’s all I’m allowed to say. Hold off from buying an iPhone/Pre”, we figured it had to be fake. It was posted from iPhone/Mac client Tweetie, after all!

When we found out it was real, however, well… we didn’t know what to think. Lucky for us George Ponder from sibling site WMExperts has us covered:

The iPhone and the Pre are obviously smartphones, so it’s tempting to put the Zune Phone back into the rumor mix. Us, though, we’re remembering how strenuously Microsoft has denied rumors of being in the hardware business and of the Zune Phone specifically. So whatever it is, we’re not expecting a 180 on this one (but a 360, or more specifically something to do with Xbox 360, doesn’t seem crazy).

Xbox 360 is inarguably the only hardware and consumer electronics brand from Microsoft enjoying anything resembling brand success at the moment, so even we’ve been up on the idea of an XboxPhone. However, if past behavior is any indicator of future behavior, Microsoft will be releasing Premium Zune Services for Windows Phone Mobile Experiences Live! 7 sometime this summer, and iPhone owners likely won’t notice…

IBM Lotus Notes and Domino to Push Email to iPhone

Macworld is reporting that Lotus Notes and Domino 8.5.1 will finally get IBM off of their current WebMail solution (see video above) and onto real support for real push email to the iPhone:

Early last year, Apple licensed ActiveSync so that businesses could push their corporate Exchange e-mail messages to iPhones. Since the ActiveSync client is already embedded in the iPhone, adding ActiveSync to the Traveler product was a good way to enable push Notes e-mail to the iPhone, [Ed Brill, director of end-user messaging and collaboration for IBM Lotus software] said.

Good on IBM.

We only have one question — hey, Google, if they above is true and ActiveSync client is just sitting there waiting, where’s our push Gmail?

(Apologies to IBM for the tangent).

How Much iPhone 3G Data Are You Using Now?

Posted on by Rene Ritchie.

Last August, a month after the iPhone 3G’s release, we asked you how much iPhone 3G data you were using. Now, some 10 months post-release, with cries that iPhone users consumer “too much” of their “unlimited data” and should be charged more, and perhaps on the eve of the next generation iPhone announcement, we’re asking again:

How much iPhone 3G data are you using now?

Because here’s the thing: the iPhone is the first real, successful consumer smartphone. Lots of people have them. And even though Wi-Fi is an option (one not available to many Verizon smartphone users) and serious video-streaming apps are still missing in action, get a convention full of iPhone users together and AT&T’s network still goes down.

So is it that iPhone users use too much data, or simply that too many people have become iPhone (and thus, data) users for AT&T’s current infrastructure to handle?

After all, single lane highways are fine — until everyone starts buying cars.

The binaural tones used in these sound therapy apps can be used with some effectiveness if you're looking for a different way to relax, meditate, or just seclude yourself from the noisy chattering of your coworkers.

FileMaker, Inc. provided one of the surprise announcements of the last couple of weeks with the introduction of Bento for iPhone and iPod touch. Designed a both a standalone database management application and companion app to the Mac version, Bento for iPhone is an inexpensive, well-designed, and usable app for collecting, searching, and displaying information.

TUAW has been able to put Bento for iPhone through its paces both as "just" an iPhone app, and as a synchronizable add-on to the desktop Bento. Check out my review of the app by clicking Read More.
