MacRumors, likely using elite-ninjary, managed to gain access to the upcoming App Store for iPad’s best seller list and it highlights a lot of new and interesting details on what apps and games we’ll see and what their prices points will be (something we’d just been wondering about):
- Flight Control HD – $4.99
- Real Racing HD – $9.99
- Labyrinth 2 HD – $7.99
- Piano Lesson PianoMan for iPad – $2.99
- Cro-Mag Rally for iPad – $9.99
- Enigmo Deluxe – $9.99
- Manic Marble 2 for iPad – $3.99
- Otto Matic for iPad – $9.99
OmniGraphSketcher is also listed at $14.99
Who’s been buying iPad apps to generate a best seller list before the device even ships? Either it’s just a test seed, or people inside Apple and those few Mossberg-level reviewers have been dropping early review dollars. Of course, developers can change pricing at any time so who knows what prices we’ll actually see on launch day and thereafter.
Also unknown is whether another App Store leak, this time from MacStories.net, shows Apple is once again moving forward with that Explicit Apps category, or if they’re still just mulling things over. Both Top Explicit Paid Software and Top Explicit iPad Software were spotted, however, and while currently empty, no doubt some developer somewhere is already hard at work on {Random Sexy App} HD.
Again, the earliest we’ll know anything for sure is April 3 when the iPad goes on sale, and that’s only the beginning…

Sony's already kicked out some decent looking
PC gaming headsets this month, and it's now followed those up a new batch of 'buds (and one set of over-the-ear headphones) that are "made for" for your iPod or iPhone. The earbuds come in the form of the DR-EX300iP, MDR-EX38iP, and MDR-E10iP, which pack either 9mm or 13mm Neodymium drivers, along with in-line controls, a built-in mic and, in the latter two cases, your choice of two different colors. They're joined by the DR-V150iP headphones "tailor-made for DJs," which pack the same in-line controls and mic, along with a 30mm ferrite driver that promises "deep bass and generous power handling." Of the lot, only the MDR-EX38iP is available now (for $40), with the rest due out in May.

It's been a while since we were in school, but with spring break almost done with, it's time to settle back into that last long stretch of school before it warms up and summer starts. You've got your handy
iPod touch or
iPhone with you on campus, and of course, you'll download some games, music, and apps that help you figure out where to go Saturday night, but there are also dozens of useful apps for the college student that are sure to be beneficial to you and your education. Here's twelve good ones to check out.
Chemical Touch Lite
College chemistry is never easy, and students will be required to memorize the periodic table of elements and use chemistry mathematical formulas. Chemical Touch Lite will let you do exactly that -- it has a fully interactive periodic table of elements, as well as information on all of the elements and their symbols. It won't guarantee you an A, but it will help you remember Au (and all of the other elements you need to know).
Eleven more after the break!
